"Wireless Network Connection" doesn't have a valid IP address
I have Dell Inspiron laptop running Windows 7 and all of a sudden I can't get network connectivity. I was able to access the network when I just got the laptop, but now I get the exclamation point in the network icon and can't connect to the internet.

If you right-click the network icon on the system tray and choose "Troubleshoot Problems" does walking thru the wizard help? If it's a wireless network you might also check this article: http://www.officeforlawyers.com/lawtech/tswireless.htm -B- http://www.officeforlawyers.com Author: The Lawyer's Guide to Microsoft Outlook

Hi, You need to make sure that the wireless network card driver and the wireless router firmware are up to date. I would like to suggest you run the following commands with elevated privilege: NETSH INT IP RESET IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS If it does not work, you may also try to assign a static IP address to the wireless network card to test the issue. What’s the result? Regards,Arthur Li - MSFT
